New garden Pictures as of 241010

Here are the new pictures of my garden as of now....They are so different, showing that basically when winter arrives there is a great gulf of brown, where green was... There is no flowers emerging or new ones arriving from the courgette plant...because the courgette plant wilted and died. There is no possibility of seeing any more beetroots on the plot below....There is only hope that the fruit trees - blackcurrant ones - or rather bushes will appear and they will be some source of amusement. I hope to continue on the my chanting and hope that those trees grow larger and larger with time.
I managed to salvage the compost that came in the packing that was green, it was a mulchy kind, with some sort of hay and other ingredients in its interesting compost state. I was aware I had broken the stalk of the one closest to the front of the garden.

Here are is a really interesting look Courgette, just a little bigger than the previous one I had got. I still seem to have some courgette remains in a bowl in my fridge alongside some beetroots of various sizes, that is the beauty of gardening on one's own. The size of the veg (sounding slightly cheesy saying Veg as an abbreviation of vegetables) is not of a common size that is considered the size acceptable that has to be in accordance with some law that they use with supermarkets. I am so glad to eat my own, am so glad the Vegetables had four times the earthiness in them than the supermarket kind, which makes you wonder, why the don't like it being pungent, when they do care of pungency when it comes to strengthening other things that are to do with sugar content, such as cocoa, or anything that has a sweet taste in shops. I thought stupidly that I was tasting something odd to begin with, however I still am living now, so obviously the taste is just a taste of something pure and wholesome, wholesome for 'ze hearty' heart.

Here is a look of the end of the Courgette plant, it lays there like a spider that has been crumpled by something stamping on it, or somehow through an accident the spider has befallen the treachery that caused this mess. However whatever the case, the look of it is a consideration of life and how the plant suffers in different ways according to the harsh conditions, which however strong the plant may be, still suffers in some splendid graceful way, with different shapes being shown and different colours exuded, and different symptoms. In this case the courgette plant lost its vibrancy, it lost the solid trunk like shaft, that bent over and the ooze of the Xylem tubes within the shafts were oozing their liquid. It was interesting to see that some Courgettes could have been overlooked, if I had done that, I would have missed the most amazing one my mums partner found. It was surely one of the greatest finds I had ever seen, even when the bugs were also delighted and had 'snorggled' their way in to feasting a little too.
Here it shows the courgette has an usual shape that deviates as it perhaps hit the ground, or that some particular obstruction was too strong for it to appear of a courgette standard, much to the similar kind of shops standards, but hey I do not care for that, it was scrum-diddly-dumptious. Yeeha!
Here are the bushes as they appear at nighttime after I had been working on them that day, it was then 8pm, when I took these shots, however the shots were helped with some lighting from my headtorch. I do believe it gives off an air that is somehow of being on the hillside, a mysterious air.
Here is the plot where the beetroots used to be growing. They are now all dug out and the remains of the beetroot stalks and courgette stalks was all dumped right at the back where there was much space to place them were all insects will have a feast, a feast that will be too delightful for words for them. Good, good, I hope they enjoy it. Death is as much a part of life as Life itself, still let us not consider either too much and also consider the vibrancy of joy that enlivens us also. Why not consider it all....
Here is the spinach plant that remains hardy, it is the perpetual spinach, which I could plant more of and I believe that is something I will do after chanting today, in the morning at around 9:30am. I am considering a number of things to do today, it is one of those days not quite for gardening however, with drizzle coming down in torrents, so in some way, the mind adjusts itself to recovering joy in being able to be drenched, in an onslaught of showers, which cleanse the soul, refresh the body of toxins and just allows one peace in one way....Peace if one does not concern oneself with battling life all the time, just allowing it to come to you, life and the earth moulds the being, the being battles it, nonetheless...
During the day the plot does seem bare, so I do hope that somehow the fruit bushes come in 3 months in some way as to showing that they are growing leaves and are maybe 15 cms high or something who knows, to what extent they may grow... It is an interesting process the introduction of new plants to the newly dug over plot.... It makes one curious as to what life will being doing, how it will be affecting the place and perhaps the earth will be pleased that I have made it fallow yet again, I therefore having the ability for this, although it is not possible in the case of the farmer, as the farmer makes a living out of it. Im sure if they had their way, they would make allowance for this of course. But of course productivity and peoples greed to eat as much as they want, not to mention the most important factor population increasing exponentially, is most likely the greatest of these factors that make the two others almost less likely to be noticed. If these 3 niggle one, it most likely turns to dosh, that the farmer cares most about. That is quite acceptable. It must be a feeling growing great acres of plot with the knowledge that if things pan out well, you get a great reward, that is sometimes a reminder quite often, no doubt, of something that makes the shine of the goldbar of wealth they get from it, so much more appealing, the being a bank manager, or a person whose life, is spent in some way offering something that is not evident, practically presented for the eye to see, witness and respect for its true raw state of greatness for all to see.
Here are the fruit bushes, of which I also wanted to plant fruit trees, however I found that only Blackcurrant bushes were available to me so that is what I was concerned with planting. As I decided on Blackcurrant bushes I realised my salivary glands were pumping in my mouth, feeling the delicious sensation I would have after munching and crunching through Blackcurrant pie, that has that deep voluptuous taste to it, the taste of something that has a full and round flavour, it sounds almost as if I was starting to consider a wine there. Or to be like one of those 'affected' wine connoisseurs who taste and savour wine, whilst swilling it in their mouth around their cheeks, almost seemingly looking like a 'whilst' pig (sorry a joke that me and my friend have regards pigs being called that due to the shrill sound one might use in saying it, caused my erring in saying 'Whilst' in a way which mis pronounces the i in it) by puffing ones cheeks out as one allows the wine to act like a tsunami against the inside of ones cheek, and it plummeting into the tongues taster parts.
I had to take some pictures of my fuchsias as I realised when they are in their youngish state they seem to be drooping the flowers, they lose their redness, they become piniker, their sepals get an orange and brownish affected look of partial death, before they render themselves completely at 'the end of their tether' and go to the ground with grace and gratitude. Or rather just die, and rot. Again a wonderous sight to see them grow and feel quite solid, in the time they were that way, to seeing them in their wintery state, after summer entered autumn and autumn became winter.
Here is the Perpetual spinach, much better seen during the day time, it is obviously needing to be picked and their needs also to be more planted now, as their might be time to see some more growth in the month ahead, if in one month, there is substantial growth to consider there being any use for creamed spinach with my proper blender only properly found when questioning 'what lay behind the sponges' one day, and the answer to my riddle, the blender, not the blender that blends in a container, the blender that has a better ability to blend soups and make usefulness when moving it wherever one pleases. I hope that it is still going to be a great deal of use when making countless creamed spinach meals, with eggs and potatoes. That is going to be a delightful to eat a lot of.

Starflower with added depth, shadows and emerging Stalks

Here are the two starflowers emerging even more so than before, after this I decided to think about creating more of a route look to the base of the starflowers to see if they would seem more deepseated within the lillypad themselves...
A good side look of the stalk and flower above shown on the furthest part of the stone on the left of it. This part I am leaving to the last or to select moments when really patient and creating the dissected look on the surface of the top of the flower that shows segments like a mandarin or satsuma might have too. Segments are involving a lot of concentrated effort that will not allow for me to slip or cause error....
Here is a good picture of the bush next to the starflower, a small bush that has just emerged and is starting to grow alongside the lillypad with its starflowers next to it. The bush was something also slightly religious based, a bit like the burning bush, but perhaps I am just striking a sensation that goes with my passion, rather than just seeing it just simply as a bush....
I am going to be quite satisfied seeing a little more colour shown on these starflowers when they have been glazed with wax and the wax dries to make the colour of these starflowers emerge from their surrounding lower area, beneath them.
A good look at them, head on, gives one the impression that they are quite splendid standing upright, they have a stark look to them, they are quite well placed and do not touch on the other shapes within the rock. I have also been wise in thinking the roots need to be displayed on the bottom side of the flowers, otherwise they don't seem rooted to anything, that would be bad....
Later on you will see, as I have already started on the new starflowers, that this side, has become something more than a void, or open space, the open space does destroy the aspect of believing the rock is the ''Starflower emerging from Lillypad'', if you don't believe it, then it is only half baked, I never like half baked things, they are almost as good as not done or even attempted. I am quite strict when I believe my instinct tells me to get something done right. But maybe swaying away from strictness and inclination to finish something rarely might have some advantage, depending on the circumstance...
Here it is true that there needs a lot more work involved on the stone.... It will need to be a good job on the top as the top has a lot surrounding it and no spaces... i.e. the petals, the sepals, the stalk and the starflowers, it is also the centerpiece of the structure...
I later created more depth to the outside of the second stalk shown on the very left hand side... It is important that that was done as otherwise the 'emergence' of the new starflowers, would not seem to be part of the other three side, so the stone curves and with the curvature of the rock there is the inclination to create further depth, even if the depth is already quite sound.

Here we see the roots that look quite thorough with the starflower that has been deepened a little as well...

A funny look of me showing my stone, with the 10 second shutter delay on camera, it allowed to choose some sort of position, even when I cannot entirely manipulate the photo in the best possible light with only 10 seconds to spare...It still suffices to show my great delight in the work involved in being eager, enthusiastic and somehow each time enlightened, enlightened through creative distraction, with some feeling of growing or becoming more sound or of more substance perhaps, perhaps, that is all we can hope for.

Here is Starflower emerging from Lillypad as it appears all ready and accomplished. The plant is now a desirable thing that is so fully green and lush with his Antoine Exupery inspired starflowers emerging with a great might out from the leaves that are swaying on the pond.

Brighton Photos taken by me

Hi Everyone here is a lot of photos that were taken by me regards seeing stuff that really took my fancy when out and about brighton.
I keep updating this as it will definitely be a much more ready supply of photos that are showing my walks here and there around brighton parks, town, in certain key areas - for artsy purposes, or art purposes, then perhaps moments when obscure things take my fancy, that kind of thing.

Here are some badges that a friend I had met sometime ago, for a short while had shown me, on his travels to the Czech republic, they were communist badges that showed the communistic rule at the time. I was proud to be able to witness such a thing, they were quite cheap to get, yet somehow they seemed like a good thing to be able to see, such things are part of history.
Here are some pictures of the Badges up close, they were well made and showed pictures of Lenin.

I like the fact they show a good likeness of him, they show how stern he was with his goatey beard, the sharp goatey beard, that jutted out before him, that showed prominence and added to assist in his speeches perhaps.

Here are photos of my garden at nighttime. They show me using my headtorch to capture the area whilst watering it. It shows how powerful the torch is for a short period of one hour or so. The torch is very effective. However I believe I would really need something much much more powerful to really go on long treks out and about on my back in territory that were really dark, for instance on cross country. That is a good thought and I think that would make for a good thing to attempt sometime in the future sometime. So with that in mind, I shall also look forward to doing that sometime too. Either get a better one, or just plan a 4 hour trek somewhere hoping to change the battery every hour. When stopping and having a load of them, whilst carrying a torch to be able to change the battery at the required time in pitch dark, hahaha.
These photos of my garden were taken in September. Whereas the ones above were taken in June of 2010 instead.

Here is another look of the Fuchsia when it is still growing however it has not grown quite enough here and I feel I need to get out tonight 181010 and do some more watering as of tonight, so torch on and away I go. It is quite a cool thing, night watering of ones garden. It involves just being with ones night eyes out and about. They adjust after half an hour and things are quite pleasant.
I am the torch man, let me tantalise you in my expression of great mirth and mischevious delight.
I look like a man who has taken too many pills and has not understood the precautions of such a thing, with the idea of being quite delighted by bright lights, I have my hand pointed at camera, like a trigger happy dude, who is almost just a little rude...
I am ready just about to explode, hahaha, no not really, but somehow, I am obsessed with doing funny photos when I am quite content on showing my exuberance at doing something new with some tool, as this headtorch was, it gave me some pleasure, I was sure that these new photos, would be the beginning of showing some funny new side to viewing my garden, as the garden develops I am sure there will be more to see in view of light on dark objects placed in the garden. For instance adding different objects that could keep the garden amusing for the sake of showing as an art piece in itself, other than fuchsia and bushes and vegetable patches that are keeping it coloured.

Archangel wing floats me away....

Here is a piece that complements well the Latest one I have done called ''Starflower emerging from Lillypad'', I needed to create something that wouldn't be matching the prehistoric collection, of which I try and make atleast 10 of one kind before moving off into another area. But the areas are sometimes blurred as for instance the ''Turtalius Barnaclius'' and ''Levi the Leviathan'' being mythical creatures, or biblical creatures. I found that I was going to create something with this one that was merely going to be about a heavenly object that showed some movement towards the religious aspect of things. I am very much interested in seeing what comes when I concentrate on putting my mindset away from the interest of objects with facial parts as if you don't change theme, then you sometimes get bogged down.
Here you see the sketch that was the first initial stage to showing how the piece was then moulded around a thought of something to do with the wings of an angel. For instance the wings of the angel Michael. I often walked past a picture of Michael defeating the dragon on the 'St Michaels and All Angels' that is on route as a walk goes for me, often when visiting certain friends. I was very pleased to be able to get this idea, as it seemed perfect for me to study something like this other than insects, animals, humans or other objects. A wing takes us up into the air, where we then have our minds moving to places outside the realm of earth. To be content with this idea, I could very much consider other ideas focusing on other winged shapes, maybe having an angel as well part of the wing. I could very well create a two winged version of this the next time. I am considering this idea sprung to mind, just now and was not anything at all in mind, but during analysis, the mind often procures the next stages of a production yet to be.

The round part in the sketch is was was worked on first, this is where I held the sculpture, if you turned it round you can see clearly that it resembles something of the sketch. The camera, allows too much light to blink off the stone, however I am still satisfied with other angles one gets a good idea of the stone, the ridges on the edges are meant to give the wing a cloud like appearance.
I really like this pose, it almost looks like the winged part of ''Flash gordon'' on the earlier version of Flash. If you imagine his head, having this on it. It causes one to see the image of some creature fast in motion, whizzing off. I do feel if that is the case, in this piece, perhaps other subtle reasons emerge as to how many different analytical thought processes decidely made me nod ''yes'' in favour of producing this. For instance, could it be, I zoom down hill often on my bike, fast as I can, could it be, yes I often found myself running a great deal and doing a lot of zooming round town, did I love ''Flash Gordon'' - Yes!!, did I love wings, was I studying birds as well prior to thinking of making a whole lot of bird sculptures in the future - yes. So a whole load of ideas are built together and the idea of concerning yourself with choosing to go ahead, can be just the satisfaction of atleast perhaps 10 things that make the artist smile inside and just go ahead and produce the piece. The grey areas are where I used the ruffler to continue to sand down the piece and make it as good as I could in being smooth. The orange texture was the higher up, more rough and varied texture about to be sanded.
Here is a side of the piece that shows it is quite a chunky piece it really does need a lot of work in being made more sanded and there is so much more work needed when there is a bit more money to sand it down, with wet and dry paper.
Here I am feeling quite satisfied with the piece coming through slowly. I have my glasses squiffy as I feel I had been too impatient to show quite a happy look of contentedness when something like this materialised as a result of being restful for a moment earlier and assuring myself that wings are such a good muse to work on. I can follow parts of creatures and also make abstract beginnings when I have studied and worked on many different areas of each creature. It then gives the good followers of my work a good understanding of what such and such a thing is, when I consider gaining a good following with audience members. I just seem content working away like a beaver. However I don't think beavers are too content chiselling at stones and more barges.
Here is a good example of the arabic look of jagged edges that is emerging as a result of me feeling that this sort of design just seemed more promising than just keeping the clouded look happening 3 times over before the edge of a very rounded clouded edge appears. It shows that there is a jagged edge that might imply a look of a heart monitor with a scintillation curve, or it could be a oscillation curve of showing the earthquakes that happen on a oscillation monitor showing a certain rictor scale, it could be an arabic writing on some piece of art that might imply some over illustrative art that doesn't quite seem simple for any arabic person, except those with exquisite eye to study it. Ofcourse if I had made the study of arabic in my life, it would definitely be arabic writing instead of just jaggedy lines, that is also a possibility in future.
I do love the look of the jaggedy edges made with a 4mm chisel, it is a lot of time and effort done in doing this, perhaps 2 or 3 hours, although Im going to do more work on it soon. And much later perhaps January next year I shall be glazing a lot of the pieces with paraffin spray to spray the wax, and make it thinly applied to get the look of something constantly shining, this will definitely please me, the look of every shadow emerging ever so much more prominently.
I see why I chose the jaggedy edge it was a reminder that somehow Levi the Leviathan, had crept into the piece from a reminder of my previous work and how gratified I had been it had been a good success. It seems though that I am absolutely itching to get them out there for people to see them. However the West Pier isnt a great place to do it, as people can't afford to buy them there. So I shall consider some other venues in future. Just need to keep going round and asking cafes perhaps, or just asking around in museums if my work might be placed there in art galleries. It does involve getting a number of them done though and also making sure to make something written about them, a long time before hand to be able to make a portfolio that will make the work so much more appealing.
Two fingers on the work show that the lines for each curve on the edge of the work, is roughly the size of two and a half fingers that will make the curves significantly wide enough that they don't look too slim, the curves. The interesting thing is geussing how it might work both for myself in being satisfactory as well as the viewer. I believe more lines than were constructed here, would have ruined the piece.
Somehow the way the piece is shown here, does make the piece feel like it has some swift quality, that it could ''zoom'' off, if the person imagined the wing had flight. It is indeed quite well done to be liked enough here and to be thought of as a ''wing''.
I like the fact you see quite well the curls on the axis part of the wing, where the wing belongs to the body. It shows that somehow there are a lot of tufts near the armpit of the creature or angel. It is however more for show, the curls and other patterns to show a creature that is somehow with many shapes that depict a great deal of wisdom or a great deal of power, on its body, if there is more to the wing, than just a feathery look. It is up to the viewer to look at the patterns and perhaps imagine better constructive thoughts than what I wrote here. It is indeed an idea of aztecian shapes that somehow give the creature extra powers, so it is lightly touching this aspect too.
If you look I like the fact the wing has almost a construction of a toe here, it is not completely straight on the edge and there is a good look of contrast between my arm, the tools around, the angles and so on. So much going on here.

The underside was an experimentation showing the curls and the idea of creating some lines through them through the base of the archangels wing. It is important also however that I definitely keep going ahead with sanding down the bottom.
Here is a good look of added parts that are now showing the little curls just near to the large ones. The Large ones almost seem like pacmans that appear to almost want to eat into other aspects of the piece. The jaggedy edge has been etched out more, the upward ''v''s near the bottom of the piece are like simple seagull scribbles, the upward curls like seawave, just above the jaggedy edge give the piece a separation between the jaggedy fiery part and the idea of a sea element to it, so it involves a lot of parts to it, they all make the wing, seem much more interesting in its entirety than me leaving the space between the jaggedy parts and the cloud like outer part kept smooth surface. I am pleased, the imagination went further to make more appear here.
This picture complements my argument that the extra constructive shapes were a good additional idea to the piece. Although much more etching is needed. I feel that I am always improving with this pieces. I often find time to visit my sculpting man, who lives close by who sells me the stones. He does often find time to talk and so in doing so the sculptures then furthermore get developed and blocks in my mind as to how to progress do not hinder me.
Almost when looking at the outside edge of the cloud like formation of the wing, I see that they almost appear like fissures the moments between each cloud round part.
Below shows a really good look of the strange curly parts that somehow almost appear like odd ''pacman's'', who might eat the other parts of the sculpture. They almost appear as if they might fight eachother and are doing so at all moments.

Here is the finished product of Levi as he reached his final stage. So that the wing might appear angelic in its right to being a wing almost considered part of cloud and part of Heavens above that forged it.
