Charming Old Gentleman

                        Charming Old Gentleman Sculpture

Here is a sculpture I developed that was due to my friend, who is charming having bestowed some great finesse and essence upon me. I feel that something of charming people, i.e. Anthony, a great friend of 7 years, without mentioning more of him, my mother and my father, were the first great charming and cultured people who I revere in keeping my life wholesome.
Other than that, I am procuring such a design as I feel that there must be some work done that follows the classics in view of Sculptures produced in Roman times. The Busts of of Caesar, or such high senate figures. Perhaps if we look at the name we are more inclined to famous artists who remain painters and sculptors revered in history. I choose to do this, as there is a very important need to step out of the territory of fantasy and animal based sculpture designs. Its refreshing to do a new theme within the context of one medium -i.e. sculpting. I feel therefore, that I stretch myself, to a new set of alternatives that are spawned from this day onward.

As you can see the neck is the most important part of the sculpture, it is the point where I provide the audience with something to look at the fellow and see what calibre of personality he is.
Eventually moving on from the musculature surrounding the wholeness of the neck, I will provide then assistance to alleviating more of a ridge between the musculature and outer edge of the jawline, on both sides. I have decided also that his chin will hopefully have something of a jutting position, outwardly...

Here is me looking goofy, at the prospect of more excitement in front of sculpture, showing me chatting to a friend also, harnessing two forms of technology to create a buzz sensation around my life and my particular work.... ahead of me...

Its interesting that there is a reddish hue over the edge of the stone, on the rainbow opal. It could remind me of sun hitting the face of the fellow if it were something to continue to be shown when I develop the face and try not to remove that particular composition from the rock....

Lots of views and you see the adams apple is only just slightly being rounded and removed by 5mm thus....When showing it waxed and the outline of the defining musculature of the rest of the neck, in time.... It should provide something slightly sexual for the viewer to witness, in view of the beauty of the body, how it has definite boundaries between its shapes...

Paintings felt within flowing for the honourable people

Asteroid magma balls are heading this way in this red flammable painting....
But with a little more work a couple of days later I had made  something a little more amusing, with egg shapes, with flames that had little sachets attached and some other interesting thoughtful considerations considering ones fruitful imagination that spawned and spawned day after day it continued...

LIght Show in St Annes well park

Here as we entered the South side of St Annes well park it was quite magical and I was feeling quite dreamy having my exhibition the next day as well. So in I went with Jean, my mother and my friend Anthony, we immediately saw a dog or two and there was shirts hung up with little candles inside dotted all around. I didn't realise they were shirts that looked like the man who wore them with his grubby kind of grimy appearance in Hyacinth. I forgot what his name was. But still they weren't grimy, maybe persil had made them this sparkly in this woodland place so divine and so neighbourly to my great friends around me. Hadn't been to St Annes Well park for a while.

This particular 'Ring of Fire' (pun intended regards Johnny Cashes ring of fire, much more lively than my head felt, feeling more dreamy and spacey haha),
This particular one above reminded me of Event Horizon perhaps the thoght of this popped into my head regards fear of such great abundance of fire, the exhibition tomorrow on Sunday and the prospect of the mystery of the night. I liked the three circles that seemed to slightly confuse one. They each of them alternated at different points and then bisected each other at certain angles. The flames working quite like fire fairies bouncy light on the spot.
Anyway that was just a fantasy but the next light spectacle fantastic, was a ball that resembled that I saw in the Science museum in London with the orb you touch and electric current travels to ones hand, except here your hand would have been burnt to a cinder. Not only that you would have a great scar to see that you had most definitely touched the fire element and not the electric element haha.
It looks like something I used to have placed in my room as a poster amongst a grid that was part of the design and definitely brings to mind something I read on Einsteins relativity of gravity E=mc2 sort of thing! Except the one below reminds me of Devil May Cry 2 the game were he has to find the Soul that will help him get the special fire gauntlet gloves or something.... Each thing the Devil collects he gains points in this game and also charms that help him defeat enemies. I am not entirely sure I know if this correct but it is going to be nudged into correction, considering anyone who reads this and comments on the error of its exact detail...Still intriguing nevertheless. There was ball he had to beat the crap out of and  it would then release the charm,  a white sort of eliptical orb that was called Souls lament or something..

Egyptian Sale Boat on the Nile

Here is me branching out into the Clay sculptures due to starting in 2011 with Clay sculpting, bowl making and other interesting tinkerings as such which I shall endeavour to produce when they start fiddling themselves out from my fingers. I was quite keen to start on it, since the Monday I got the bag I hauled it on my head, like Santa against my back and also just regular lad or chap by the side of ones body.
I was so relieved of my exhibition yesterday am now very keen to get on with the sculpting of any other sort and not be too lackse in laying back and unwinding, I am young, vigorous and free.
I feel this more than ever when my eyes were opened and riding home one particular night last week from my friend Anthony Pritchards where the trees were going '''Shooooo, shooo'' similarly representing the sound heard amongst other similar things like the shore.

Here is the first amongst many others:

Salamander on River rushing creek

The tail reminds me so much of the lizards one, however in this case he is more frisky and perhaps also slightly cheeky in coiling his tail.... The scoring of the rock makes it easier to etch away a little more easily later.... But doesn't look pretty at first..
Here is the toe that somehow needs to be lifted out of the rock, it is intentional to do it this way as I find that without the need to extract it from the rock the width would have created to few toes, and too few toes doesn't help him swim.

Frog on Lilly leaf...

This is the Toad in his final, the gleam of him is remarkable the tinges of orange and dark green coalescing in a wonderous formation that is sprinkled orange between masses of dark green. I like what happened here, even though the shining of him was hard to do I find it was quite a pleasant thing outside watching the sparrow watch over the guttering at me as I did so in the late afternoon.

Flipper finned fish

Here is Work produced on a new project concerning yet again a theme that introduces more fish to the existing second sculpture that was produced called Levi the Leviathan. It is with this thought that I encouraged myself to find more solace in creating a world where a certain number of sculptures if you will if magiced into the 'real state' the real life, they would be happy coalescing in some way in a habitat that thrived with many of their kind. The whale might be seeking the smaller 'Flipper finned fish' however their might need to be an introduction of other fish that would keep the distance between the two quite clear. Like the endless silver fish or scholes of them that emerge their is every need to build every theme of mine so that is becomes prominent.
The beginning of the snout or beaky mouth that was shown here is a good depiction of the fish having more work needed to deepen the inside of his mouth and the underside of his beak. This did happen with great eagerness as you see later, I haven't found what sort of temperament comes to mind, when seeing him. But like a swordfish I imagine him to be sleeky and silver like, in colour, with tinges of blue if imagined in the real world, he would appear also more large than a piranha, but lithe and drawn to smaller fish, gulping maybe 8 in day for sumptious delight.
The fins were a delicate task to take on, seeing that I was more inclined to using the round beak like ruffler, that has an oblong and curvy shape, I went to it and used a circular motion on the grooves arranged to show the separation of each fin, between beginning fins and end fins.
The gills underneath will need a web like scoring as I first thought it evident they needed deepening at the most beginning stages of development, later it is close to getting onto scoring it with great grace and close inspection, it will be like being a baker, you might need more delicate thought than you can muster, but put a great deal of joy in the bliss of your undivided attention in life.
A close inspection of the fins being separated quite clearly from the middle part of the body.
The beak is one which has a great mandible on the lower half than the upper half and almost resembles the rhino which can also develop as an interesting venture, through enthusiasm arising from sudden inspection of thought, on such analysis. This causes me to realise there is also a stern nature to the eyes it does not appear anything like Turtalius in humour, there is more likeness to Levi and other creatures that might develop from henceforth.
This picture slightly confuses me as I believe the opposite effect of the shadows has become inverted by accident, evidently clear from the shadow of the eye, looking embossed instead of dug out, to show a creature of great clever attitude and sussing out each strategy.

The shapes are a reminder this fish, is one of business, he needs large gills to flee quickly from larger prey, he has large enough mandibles to do his business of munching a gash out of a larger fish and fleeing, then you find that this fish is high in the food chain, but not high enough to command bravery amongst Larger fishes which would bellow at him, with their gargantuan might.
